5 Mobile Applications For LIFESTYLE That You Must Have!!

Mobile Applications (Apps) can be divided into several different categories. Starting from the popular ones such as Games, Social Networking, Books and Music, the categories and products are continuously expanding, even as you read this! In this post, I will highlight specifically Lifestyle Apps and my 2 cents’ worth of advice.

Most of the mobile Apps in the Lifestyle category operate like a tracker or information gatherer. Why is there a need to monitor your lifestyle if you ask? Aside from the obvious financial gains for the developers, tracking allows you to evaluate and make notices for yourself. Instead of relying on your close friends to police and judge you, mobile apps trackers take the human-sensitive element out of the equation. This allows all consumers to peruse his or her desires based on input into the mobile App tracker. As for mobile Apps focused on information gathering, it basically helps consumers to navigate this overly complex and dense online world. What is the catch, you may ask — for the answer, have a read of my previous post on consumer privacy – are you worried too.

On the flip side, I do not propose to install a dozen Apps at once. Chances are you will be totally lost juggling between each App. A common observation is that users will end up not using the Apps after a first failed attempt to navigate through the system. There are more than 5 million mobile Apps in the market. I will suggest that users take a few minutes looking through the functions, compatibility and most importantly, the consumer feedback section before installing the desired App.

In this article, I have selected 5 mobile Apps that will make a difference in your Lifestyle. A quick disclaimer over here, this is not a sponsored piece of work. Have a read and share with us your thoughts.

#1 Evernote

A great utility App to help you stay organised in this information era. Started with a desktop version, the Evernote Corporation developed the mobile interface to strengthen the consumer engagement and support. You can synchronise your data (such as Microsoft Office documents, PDFs, Photos) across all your electronic devices, injecting greater efficiency and organization into your personal life. Supported by both Android and iOS platforms, this digital notepad is adored by many.

#2 Fitstar Personal Trainer

Supported by both Android and iOS platforms, this fitness App has similar functions to many others out there with some key selling points including: allowing you to have a productive workout at home; ability to customise the routine; and best of all it is free. A personal advice to all, if you have just started doing workouts, go easy on yourself. The goal here is to build a regular routine for workouts, not to simply burn out in one night and delete the App the next day. An offering by FitStar Inc., this App provides a high quality interactive experience even from the free version, which is what I appreciate.

#3 Water Drink Reminder

Yes, this App does exactly what it says. We all know the importance of drinking water and yet it in this hectic urban lifestyle today, taking note of how much water you have taken in is at the least of our priorities. Are you experiencing dry skin, constipation or considering going on the healthier diet plan? Give it a try. Featured by Google Play, this App is the Top Trending App 2016 and it is free to download. It is a great little App by Leap fitness group that keeps you hydrated to promote a good lifestyle and even allows you to synchronise with Google Fit.

#4 Trivia Check

Supported by both Android and iOS platforms, this little App can lighten your day by quizzing you and your friends. If you love challenging yourself and learning something new at the same time, have a try. Trivia Check by Etermax is listed in the Google Play Editor’s Choice and its customer support system is very responsive, a key area that a lot of the mobile developers neglect. The downsides are of this App is that many have commented that it contains too many advertisements and has many bugs. Nevertheless, I am sure Etermax will be fixing the problem shortly.

#5 Money Manager Expense & Budget

Ever wonder why the balance in your bank account is always so little and never seems to increase? Budget Apps is what you need to improve your awareness of your spending and to gain better control of your financial life. Developed by Realbyte Inc. from Korea, this App is definitely a good helping hand for tracking your expenses. Like other similar budget Apps (such as Mint and Wally) the beauty of using a digital tool is to be able to obtain instant statistical analysis for you to review the expenses by category per month. The interface of this App is simple and clean, with a cute piggybank logo that brings a little joy while managing personal finance.

I hope you enjoy trying out these Apps as much as I have! Leave a comment below to let us know your feedback and suggestions.
